These terms reflect the current preview and require market-specific legal review before commercial launch. The responsible legal operator, governing law, dispute venue and any paid-plan terms must be identified before they can form part of a public commercial agreement.
1. Status of these conditions
These conditions document the rules expected during the limited preview. A visit to this page is not proof that a user accepted a final agreement. Before public or commercial launch, the applicable terms must identify the responsible legal operator and be presented through the account-creation flow.
The preview is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Do not create an account for another person or place another person's sensitive information in your account without a lawful basis and their appropriate permission.
2. What KnowsYou is
KnowsYou is a conversation-first general-wellness journal. It helps capture and organize meals, activities, habits, goals, treatment routines, uploaded documents and context you choose to provide.
KnowsYou is not a medical device and does not provide medical care. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor a disease or medical condition, prescribe treatment, determine a dose, verify that treatment was taken correctly or replace a qualified professional.
It is not for emergencies or continuous clinical monitoring. Contact local emergency services immediately if you think you may have a medical emergency.
3. Your account
You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping credentials and devices secure and notifying the team if you believe the account has been accessed without permission. You are also responsible for reviewing important records created through your account.
The current interface is in English. The agent can converse in a preferred language, but quality can vary by language, input and subject.
4. Your content and permission to process it
You keep any rights you have in the messages, files, images, audio and other content you submit. You give the service the permission needed to host, process, transmit, transform and display that content only to operate, secure and support KnowsYou as described in the privacy notice.
Only submit content you have the right to use. Do not upload unlawful material, another person's confidential records without appropriate permission, malware or content intended to compromise the service.
5. AI output, estimates and corrections
The agent can misunderstand a message, image, document or instruction. Meal portions, calories, nutrients, energy expenditure, goal progress and connected-device values can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. A confident tone or detailed-looking number does not make an output accurate.
Review information that matters and correct the saved record when needed. Do not use an AI answer or estimate to make a medical decision. The current calculation explanations are available in Methods.
6. Treatment routines and health documents
Treatment routines reflect a schedule you enter or confirm. KnowsYou does not prescribe the treatment, verify its suitability or advise what to do about a missed or conflicting dose. Follow the instructions provided by your clinician or pharmacist.
Extracted document information must be checked against the source. The service can organize and restate clinician-provided information, but it does not independently validate or replace that clinician's interpretation.
7. Connected services
Connecting WHOOP or another supported service is optional and subject to that provider's terms and permissions. A provider can change, restrict or discontinue access. KnowsYou is not responsible for the provider's service or methodology.
Disconnecting a service stops future access through that connection but does not automatically erase records already imported into KnowsYou.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use KnowsYou for emergency response, clinical monitoring or decisions for which it is not designed;
- attempt to access another account or bypass security, permissions, rate limits or safeguards;
- reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use the service to create unlawful, deceptive or harmful activity; or
- overload, scrape or automate the service in a way that harms it or other users.
9. Availability and changes
The preview is provided for testing and can change, pause, experience errors or lose access to a third-party integration. Features described as Next or Exploring on the roadmap are not promised and have no guaranteed delivery date.
We can restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse or comply with law. If these terms change materially, the effective date will be updated.
10. Closing an account and data requests
A complete self-service account-deletion flow is not promised by these preview terms. For access, correction, export or deletion requests, contact privacy@knowsyou.ai. Current retention and soft-deletion behavior is described in the privacy notice.
11. No guarantee
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the limited preview is provided on an as-available basis without a promise that it will always be accurate, uninterrupted, secure or fit for a particular purpose. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction still apply.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful. Market-specific liability terms must be established through legal review before commercial launch.
